Globe Top 20 football poll: There’s a shuffle at the top of rankings

We have the first shuffle near the top of the Globe’s Top 20 football poll following Xaverian’s close loss to Springfield Central.
Catholic Memorial (3-0) retains its No. 1 ranking, followed by St. John’s Prep (4-0), Xaverian (2-1), and King Philip (4-0), which held on for a 15-12 win over Foxborough, which moves up to No. 15 for the strong effort.
Mansfield is the biggest faller after losing, 22-18, at Marshfield minus a couple of key starters.
BC High is back in the top 10 after getting in the win column (against Everett) and Milton rises to No. 10 on the heels of a strong start. Winchester debuts after rolling past previous No. 19 Masconomet, 56-22.
Records based on scores reported to the Globe.
