Promising review: “This is well worth its price. I hate housework, and particularly vacuuming and sweeping, but I have pets who shed, and this is the best purchase I’ve ever made in terms of helping me with housework. I turn Roomba on when I leave the house, and when I come back, she’s either finished vacuuming or is still working. I am going to order one for my daughter. At first, she would get caught on things, but now that she knows her way around, I can turn her on and go out and not have to worry about her getting stuck. It’s also really easy to clean out the dust receptacle.” —Lauren
Promising review: “I was very sceptical about these but went on the recommendation of my daughter. It has changed my life (or at least my cleaning routine). It does take some getting used to, but give it a week and you won’t be able to live without it! As shown in my photo, it picks up pet hair. It appears to be randomly going around my hardwood floors, but it must work on some kind of internal grid because it doesn’t miss much. Before this purchase, I swept my floors approximately three times per week because of cat hair. This goes around every morning while I shower and get dressed, and picks up a full bin of dust! I wouldn’t run it when not at home if you own pets, but I think it’s perfectly fine to run while I do other things (it once ran over my cat’s tail bc he was too lazy to move). Occasionally, it gets stuck, but I just go around and do a quick pick-up to make sure I get maximum results. I hadn’t planned on using it on my deep pile carpet, but was amazed at how great a job it did! The room looked as though I had used a full-size vacuum! Get one! You won’t regret it!” —Southport Summers
