The Chief Executive Officer of the Linda Dor restaurant, Belinda Doris Akorful, stirred social media reactions as she made a rare public appearance.
Arkorful attended the funeral of the late Maame Efua Sekyiwaa held at Burma Camp in Accra on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page MC Oheneba, the popular restaurateur grabbed attention at the funeral grounds in dark mourning clothes, which was in contrast to almost everyone else, who were in white.
She was seen walking with the help of a wheeled walker while surrounded by numerous people.
Despite her evidently advanced age, the Linda Dor CEO looked radiant and displayed youthful grace and elegance.

All about Linda Dor
Belinda Doris Arkorful founded the iconic Linda-dor restaurant in the 1970s.
Located at Bunso on the Accra-Kumasi road, it has since become the primary rest stop for travellers on the heavily trafficked route.
In an interview with YouTuber Wode Maya, she stated that she started the business when she was posted to Koforidua in the Eastern region as a teacher in the 1970s.
She said she started by selling food to travellers on the road stretch, before the business expanded massively over the years.
Linda Dor currently has seven branches nationwide.
