49ers' Jauan Jennings Offers One-Word Injury Update on Himself

The San Francisco 49ers continue to deal with a huge number of injuries, especially on the offensive side of the ball. During the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team lost both Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings, both of whom had entered the game with injuries.

Pearsall appeared to have reaggravated his knee injury that was plaguing him all week, and he was pulled from the game. Jennings was also dealing with a shoulder and ankle injury, but managed to suit up anyway.
During a two-point conversion play, Jennings caught the ball in the endzone, but was smashed between two Jaguars defenders. The result was another injury, but Jennings could not use the blue medical tent due to Pearsall already being in there.
Jennings entered the game injured and also appeared to have suffered another injury during Sunday’s loss. Despite what sounds like it could keep the star receiver out for a game or so, Jennings has offered a one-word response regarding an injury update.
When speaking to reporters regarding the injuries he has been dealing with, Jennings was asked if his availability will be in question for Week 5.
Jennings responded with a simple, “Nah.”

Though the one-word response did not exactly inspire confidence in describing what is currently going on with Jennings’ health, he showed his toughness by playing in Week 4, and it appears he will do the same in Week 5.
The 49ers dropped their first loss of the season to the Jaguars, as the team fell with a final score of 26-21. Though Brock Purdy threw over 300 yards in his return from injury, the Jaguars’ defense caused five turnovers, including a strip sack that sealed the game in the fourth quarter.
San Francisco will look to rebound against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. Though Pearsall may be out due to injury, the team might have Jennings to count on no matter what.
