His words seem to suggest that whatever he has faced so far in his NFL career has helped build the confidence that he can perform well this season. Along with the offensive additions, he is confident of beating defenses.
Dak Prescott feels good after additions on offense
Before getting injured last season, Dak Prescott was vocal in calling out the deficiencies in the Dallas Cowboys’ offense. This season, owner Jerry Jones has answered his calls for better personnel, and that has added to Prescott’s confidence.
When you’ve got guys like CeeDee (Lamb) in his prime, and you got a guy like George (Pickens) that we were able to add, two elite guys with the rest of the crew (KaVontae Turpin, Jake Ferguson), a great run game, it’s hard not to be (confident).
Dak Prescott added
The three-time Pro Bowler believes the team’s offseason additions will help them get to where they want to. They lost their season-opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, but then bounced back with an overtime win against the New York Giants.
As the retooled offense continues to learn each other’s nuances, it should get better. Their next game against the hapless Chicago Bears should reveal how far they have come in terms of offensive prowess.
Dak Prescott and Cowboys will face Micah Parsons in Week 4
Prescott should hope that his Dallas Cowboys offense finds its rhythm in their next game. Come week 4, they will face their old teammate, Micah Parsons, and the Green Bay Packers defense.
