An argument broke out between two passengers over a seat in a local train on the Thane-Vashi Trans Harbour route on Wednesday. The argument soon escalated into a fight.
According to the reports, the incident took place at around 11 am today.
Soon after the argument, both passengers started hitting each other. They were seen thrashing each other with slaps and punches. The video from the Thane-Vashi local has now gone viral on social media.
In the clip, the two passengers are seen arguing over a seat. Soon, the argument spiralled out of control and turned into a fight, catching everyone’s attention. The scuffle was captured on mobile phones, in which the two passengers can be seen throwing punches and slaps at each other.

At first, the co-passengers did not seem to bother at first. But when the fight escalated, many intervened and calmed both of them.
Such incidents highlights the growing tension faced by daily commuters. Regular arguments over seats, pushing and shoving during peak hours and rising tempers raise safety concerns.
