Seahawks star player gets news he did not want to hear from the NFL following the team's big Week 4 win over a divisional rival

The NFL announced it is fining Williams $23,186 for what it called “unnecessary roughness” for an illegal use of his helmet. The league handed out 20 fines in total from the Week 3 slate. Williams’ fine tied for the largest given out to any player this week. The league has made it known that it is trying to crack down on players using their helmets as part of tackles, and Williams is one of the most recent cases in which the league is showing it means business. The Seahawks are on a three game winning streak after losing their season opener against their NFC West rivals, the San Francisco 49ers. Williams and the Seahawks defense have been a significant factor in their recent success. Therefore, it’s essential he doesn’t let this unfortunate news affect him mentally in any way. The team needs him locked in since he is one of its most talented players and a leader for the defense. Next up for the Seahawks is a trip across the country to play one of the top teams in the NFC, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It’ll be an excellent chance for the Seahawks to put their recent success to the test as they try to take down a high-powered Buccaneers’ offense.
