Dale Earnhardt Jr. Boldly Predicts R-12 Elimination of Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick

NASCAR Playoffs are heating up. The Cup Series heads to the Round of 12 this weekend in New Hampshire. The top 12 drivers will now compete for 8 places, with four getting knocked out after the next three races. NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. has now insisted that the likes of Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick might struggle to make it to the next round.

The Playoff format remains controversial among fans. The regular season does not matter now, with everything to play for. JGR dominated the Round of 16, with Chase Briscoe, Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell winning races, while their main rival Hendrick Motorsports struggled. The most under performer of the three HMS drivers, Elliott might not have what it takes to carry forward according to Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Dale Jr. insisted that his elimination predictions were not based on any scientific data. Rather, it was sheer racing instincts. Dale Earnhardt Jr. asserted that perhaps Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick will get knocked out in the Round of 12, alongside Austin Cindric and Ross Chastain. On the other hand, the NASCAR legend was confident that Joey Logano will do exactly what he needs to do to get through to the Round of 8.

This is so tough. They’re all so good. This is really hard. No scientific data here. No evidence or real hard study to back up this prediction. But my four that are going to struggle to make it into the next round are Chase Elliott, [Austin] Cindric, [Ross] Chastain, [Tyler] Reddick. I think that Logano, who tested at Loudon… I feel like Loudon and Kansas are two good tracks for Joey. So, I think he’ll do just enough to advance.Dale Earnhardt Jr. said on Dale Jr. Download.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. predicts Joey Logano will bounce back in Playoffs

Joey Logano is arguably the most infamous driver when it comes to NASCAR Playoffs. The team Penske star is known to capitalize on the controversial format, while never pushing things in the regular season. This has made him the poster boy for hate towards the Playoffs.
