The Washington Commanders will travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium today for a matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Commanders are 2-1 following their 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Starting quarterback Jayden Daniels remains sidelined with a knee sprain, giving backup quarterback Marcus Mariota the start against his former team today.
Mariota completed 15 of 21 passes for 207 yards and one touchdown pass in the win against the Raiders. He also rushed for a touchdown.
The Falcons are 1-2 and will be looking to bounce back from a brutal 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers last week. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 18 of 36 passes for 172 yards and threw two interceptions in the loss.
