PENSIONS MOTION

PENSIONS MOTION

A call is being made for just treatment meted out to former Assemblymen who are not now beneficiaries of the Tobago House of Assembly’s pensions benefits.

It comes as surviving members of the THA prior to 1996 continue to clamor for relief.

The call came on Thursday in a motion piloted by leader of Assembly business Zorisha Hackett.

Other members of the House including Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, Minority Leader Kelvon Morris and Assemblyman Watson Duke all contributed to the motion on Thursday at the Assembly Chamber Plenary sitting.
