“My husband was cheating on me with one of my friends. She was getting married, and we RSVPed ‘yes’ to the wedding. But then, suddenly, he got a headache, and we didn’t go. I became suspicious. One night, only two months later, he called and said he was working late. I drove around and found his car parked next to her car in a local hotel. I called the hotel, connected to his room, and told him we were done. He said they weren’t having sex — they were just doing cocaine, which I objected to. I left, and a few months later, we met to do our taxes. He begged me to come back. I had heard my friend was pregnant with his child. When I asked him about it, he said he didn’t care about her or the baby. That was the moment I knew I needed to move on. They got married, and because we are in the same business, I heard many stories that he continued to cheat on her. They deserve each other. My life is so much better without him now.”
