DIAMOND CREDIT UNION
Diamond Credit Union has named Rob Sanchez and Julie Huber as business relationship officers to serve business members in Berks and Bucks counties. In their new roles, Sanchez and Huber will work directly with business members to support their financial needs and help them grow.
Sanchez began his career in the financial industry in 2003 with First Union, which later became Wells Fargo. In 2017, he joined BB&T, now Truist, as a market leader and branch leader. Throughout his career, Sanchez has led banking teams and supported clients with business lending, deposits, credit, merchant services, insurance and employee engagement.
He graduated from Alvernia University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in computer science.
In addition to his banking experience, Sanchez also operated a small business for several years. That experience, he said, gives him a “hands-on perspective” and understanding of what business owners face.
Sanchez will focus on serving businesses throughout Berks County.
Active in the community, he currently serves as chairman of the United Way’s Blueprint for Leadership program and sits on the organization’s audit committee. He is a former board member of the United Way of Berks County and serves as treasurer of the Reading Education Foundation.
He also volunteers with Baseballtown Charities and Wilson Youth Baseball, and has contributed time to the Reading Firefighter Museum, Berks Community Action Program, Reading Symphony Orchestra and the Alvernia University Alumni Association.
Huber has more than 10 years of business development experience in various roles, most recently serving as the community growth director at Gold Credit Union. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Strayer University and has earned certificates from institutions including Harvard University, Yale University, Imperial College London and the University of Colorado Boulder.
Her previous roles have included financial consulting, marketing, community engagement, business development, fundraising and nonprofit management.
Huber will serve businesses throughout Bucks County.
Huber currently serves as board chairwoman for Friends of Allentown Parks, vice president of the board for Ripple Community Inc., and community service chairwoman for the Allentown Rotary Club. She is also co-chair of the Homecoming event for Family Promise Lehigh Valley, a member of the She Nailed It Committee for Habitat for Humanity, and serves on the Steak and Burger Committee for the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem.
In addition, Huber is the youth volunteer council director and volunteers with the Salvation Army and Phoebe Ministries.
CITADEL CREDIT UNION
Citadel Credit Union has promoted Eric Skinner to the position of chief information officer. Skinner succeeds Brian Berry, who will retire later this year after 16 years of leadership.
Skinner has been a key member of Citadel’s technology leadership since 2013. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, he has played an integral role in advancing the credit union’s operational infrastructure and digital transformation strategy. He began his career as a programmer at a Georgia-based credit union before joining a credit union service organization, where he led the migration of nearly 2,000 institutions to a new shared payments platform.
At Citadel, Skinner led a full core system conversion during his first year, an initiative that catalyzed a broader modernization of Citadel’s IT operations. Since then, he has overseen major initiatives across business technologies, telecommunications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. His focus on operational scale, efficiency, and innovation has enabled Citadel to meet the needs of a rapidly growing member base while elevating member experience and safeguarding data integrity.
In his expanded role, Skinner will lead Citadel’s enterprise technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and payment solutions, ensuring continued innovation and resiliency across all digital channels.
Bill Brown, Citadel’s president and CEO Said Skinner’s track record for scalable, member-first technology makes him the “ideal leader” to shape Citadel’s digital future.
Skinner currently serves on the Symitar Advisory Board for Jack Henry, a leading banking technology provider and core platform partner to Citadel. He is also an active volunteer with the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation, demonstrating a commitment to both industry advancement and community service.
