Hertfordshire Zoo will be hosting an unforgettable Halloween event including dinosaurs, brick-built beasts, and after-dark fun. The zoo’s October half-term event promises a week of new experiences for visitors of all ages.
From the roar of a T-rex to the magic of after-dark events, the Halloween festivities offer a perfect blend of thrills and autumn charm. Dinos After Dark will be returning with a spooky twist.
Between 5.30pm to 8.30pm visitors will be able to explore the World of Dinosaurs under the stars, with glowing lights and live entertainment creating a magical, prehistoric playground. In a first for Hertfordshire Zoo, a trail of 18 incredible dinosaur sculptures, built entirely from bricks, will be unveiled on September 30.
Families will also be able to journey back in time on the World of Dinosaurs trail, home to over 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. There will also be exciting stage shows that will feature the zoo’s very own baby dinosaurs, offering interactive performances filled with fun and surprises for the audience.
A spokesperson from Hertfordshire Zoo said: “The zoo’s catering outlets will be serving up a new autumn-themed menu. Visitors can warm up with delicious seasonal snacks and perfectly spiced pumpkin lattes, adding a touch of cosy Halloween spirit to their day.”
Tickets for the half-term festivities are now available online.
