The 2026 Vistiq, whose name rhymes with “mystic” and not “mystique,” is an all-new, all-electric SUV from Cadillac. It replaces the gas-powered 2025 XT6, bringing the luxury brand closer to its goal of producing electric vehicles exclusively.
Vistiq has three rows, with seating for up to seven passengers, and is available in four trim levels: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Platinum, with a price range from $79,090 to $98,190. Every model is well-equipped with desirable features befitting a luxury vehicle of Cadillac’s caliber. The top two trims put some icing on the cake.
Luxury and Sport models have a standard second-row bench with the option of captain’s chairs that reduce capacity to six but increase passenger comfort, and provide a pass-through to the third row. Premium Luxury and Platinum trims come standard with captain’s chairs.
Vistiq looks like the Escalade IQ but is much smaller, more mid-size compared to the behemoth. Taken out of context, however, Vistiq is large. Overall length is 205 inches, width is 80 inches, height is 71 inches, and weight is a hefty 6,326 pounds. It’s bigger than the XT6 it replaces.
Vistiq’s power comes from a dual-motor fully electric system providing all-wheel drive. It includes a 102-kWh battery pack and delivers a whopping 615 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque. On a full charge, Vistiq has a 300-mile driving range.
I drove the Vistiq Premium Luxury model. Standard features include air ride adaptive suspension with continuous damping control, a setup that enhances comfort, sharpens handling, and enables height adjustments.
The Premium Luxury’s ride is incredibly unruffled and the interior so perfectly quiet, it was like being inside a mobile Zen room. I almost attained nirvana on Highway 2.
As it turned out, the transcendent experience was courtesy of automotive technology working behind the scenes: active noise cancellation and active road noise cancellation.
Vistiq’s compelling interior is rife with upscale materials and artistic design. My tester’s Phantom Blue interior is exclusive to the Premium Luxury model and includes Nouveauluxe synthetic leather seats with custom quilting and contrasting white piping, a sueded microfiber headliner and trim, and Lumen open-pore wood trim.
Command central is a visually appealing and mostly intuitive 33-inch high-resolution LED screen with Google built-in. Typical of high-end luxury EVs, the system has an endless number of selections. The climate control system has its very own touchscreen in the center console, a nice arrangement that looks good and helps simplify operation.
There are two wireless charging ports along with several large storage spaces in the vicinity.
An excellent 23-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos is standard. I had a little issue with the infotainment system’s console-mounted volume control wheel for not being faster.
Active rear steering (standard) and fabulous 23-inch wheels (optional) earned favor during the week.
