Gaza, September 18 (QNA) – Four Palestinians, including children, were martyred and others injured after Israeli occupation artillery shelled Al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces bombarded Al-Zarqa area of Al-Tuffah with heavy artillery, killing four people. They added that medical teams, civil defense units, and residents managed to retrieve the body of a young girl, while ongoing shelling prevented them from reaching other bodies.

Meanwhile, a young man was martyred when Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a group of civilians near Al-Sanafour junction in the same neighborhood.

In a related development, Al-Quds Hospital, affiliated with the Palestine Red Crescent Society, confirmed that it received five injuries after an Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb near Bank of Palestine in Gaza City.

Medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported that 48 people have been martyred since dawn on Thursday as a result of Israeli’s occupation ongoing massacres across the Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving 65,141 martyrs and 165,925 wounded, the majority of them children and women. (QNA)
