A Baltimore County police officer was injured Saturday night following a police chase involving juveniles, according to police.
Officers from the White Marsh Precinct responded to Attenborough Drive around 9:35 p.m. on September 27 for a vehicle theft that had just occurred.

While en route, an officer saw the stolen vehicle and gave the direction of travel to other officers. Police said the officer was waiting for additional units before activating his lights and sirens when the suspects saw him and attempted to drive away.
Stop sticks were deployed, damaging the stolen vehicle’s tires.
The suspects then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot in the area of Belair Road and Overton Avenue.
Two of the three suspects, a 15-year-old and 16-year-old, were captured.
Police said one officer suffered minor injuries while apprehending the suspects, and one civilian’s unoccupied parked vehicle sustained minor damage after being struck by the stolen vehicle.
The incident is ongoing as officers continue to search for the third suspect.
