The Colts were without their top outside CB and edge last week, with Ward and Latu being inactive. Both have now practiced both days to begin the week, which gives a lot of hope for them to return to the field on Sunday. The team did have a couple of slight scares to begin the week, with WR Josh Downs and TE Tyler Warren missing Wednesday’s practice. But both were on the field Thursday, with Downs a full participant and Warren a limited one. The players I’ll be interested to hear updates from head coach Shane Steichen on tomorrow, as well, to see what their practice status is on Friday, are Laiatu Latu and Tyler Warren. Latu is dealing with a hamstring injury, and another day as a full participant seems necessary to believe he will be ready to go. Warren’s toe injury, on the other hand, is a bit more of a mystery, I doubt he will miss this game because of it, but it will be interesting to see if he can elevate to a full participant on Friday to show he is fully ready to go for his first AFC South matchup.
