Riyadh Hosts Cultural Investment Conference 2025 Starting Monday

Riyadh, September 27 (QNA) – The Cultural Investment Conference 2025 is set to kick off on Monday at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.

Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture under the theme “From Our Culture We Build Our Economy”, the two-day event convenes an elite group of global investors, decision-makers, cultural leaders, representatives of public and private stakeholders, as well as NGOs, alongside entrepreneurs of cultural ventures and innovators.

The conference program features over 38 panel discussions and workshops, whose themes are structured into a trifecta of pillars, chiefly, the “Culture is Capital” initiative, which primarily aims to enhance the status of culture as an attractive investment opportunity, highlighting its power as an economic driver that contributes to tourism, job creation, and regional development, while positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading destination for these investments.

The second theme, the Return on Investment (ROI) of Culture, focuses on exploring innovative mechanisms for investing in cultural opportunities, particularly in emerging markets, while drawing lessons from regions with varying levels of cultural maturity.

The third theme, Mobilizing Philanthropy, emphasizes the importance of adopting an inclusive and collaborative investment approach that strengthens global cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

The ministry pointed out that this conference is a pivotal landmark on the path toward empowering the cultural sector in Saudi Arabia to be transformed into a vital economic driver that consolidates national identity and contributes to tourism development.

In addition, it aims to bolster cultural influence globally, in pursuit of achieving the broader objectives of the National Cultural Strategy under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030. (QNA)
