The Ocean City High School boys soccer team won its second straight game with a 1-0 victory over Middle Township in a Cape-Atlantic League interdivision game Saturday.
Javier Mitre-Lopez scored the game’s lone goal in the first half. It was the freshman forward’s first career goal. The Red Raiders (6-3) outshot Middle 9-8.
Miles Stafford made eight saves for the Panthers (6-2).
Southern Reg. 2, Toms River East 1: Brody Nacarlo scored the winning goal off an assist from Caden Schweigart in the second overtime.
Schweigart scored in the first half off an assist from Nick Leiriao for the Rams (5-3-1), who are No. 8 in The Press Elite 11. Kyle Sininsky made two saves.
Aiden Reis scored in the second half to tie the game for Toms River East (9-1).
Mainland Reg. 4, Triton Reg. 1: David O’Donnell scored a goal and assisted on another for the Mustangs (7-3).
Cole Stefano assisted on two goals. Cooper Brookbank, James Breitinger and Nick Rosato each scored. Brandon Dionicio made one save.

Egg Harbor Twp. 1, Lenape 0: Jackie Brownlee scored in the 71st minute off an assist from Ava Ferrara.
Arianna Nguyen made five saves for the Eagles (9-0), who are No. 4 in the Elite 11.
Freehold Twp. 3, Lacey Twp. 1: Ava Flanagan scored the Lions’ lone goal off an assist from Chacity Rotondella.
Ava Schmidt made 10 saves for Lacey (5-4).
Field hockey
Southern Reg. 5, Lenape 1: Leah Newton scored two goals for the Rams (6-2).
Kai Angelozzi and Kaedyn Lipowski each scored a goal and assisted on another. Paige Shaw also scored. Emma Korenthal made one save.
Lyla Clark scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the Ocean City High School field hockey team to a 5-4 victory over previously undefeated St. Joseph Academy.
Egg Harbor Twp. 6, Williamstown 2: Brynne Capozzolli scored two goals for the Eagles (4-4-1).
Trina Grawl assisted on four goals. Kaci Velardi, Avery Bird, Skyler Wood and Jamie Decker each scored. Samantha Torres made five saves.
