Gaza, September 27 (QNA) – The death toll from Israeli assault on Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday has risen to 51 Palestinians, including 27 from Gaza City, in addition to dozens of others wounded.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA ) quoted medical sources in Gaza as saying that civil defense and emergency crews in Khan Younis recovered the bodies of three people martyred when Israeli occupation forces struck a vehicle near Asdaa Junction, north of the city.
The sources added that 16 Palestinians were injured, with varying degrees of severity, after Israeli forces targeted a group of civilians on School Street in Al-Amal neighborhood, northwest of Khan Younis.
Medical officials also reported that 20 hospitals in Gaza City and northern Gaza have been forced out of service, while the remaining facilities at risk include: Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Friends of the Patient Hospital, General Service Hospital, Al-Sahaba Medical Complex, Al-Ahli Al-Arabi Hospital, Al-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital, Al-Helou Hospital, and the Red Crescent Field Hospital – Saraya.
The health sector in Gaza continues to face a severe crisis, with Israeli occupation barring the entry of medicines and medical supplies, while also targeting medical teams through killings and arrests, alongside the systematic destruction of major hospitals. (QNA)
