This card has two variants: the IndiGo SBI Card and the Indigo SBI Card ELITE. This card offers a dual network setup. This means that users receive two cards under a single account. The first is a RuPay card and the second is a Mastercard.

SBI Card and IndiGo have jointly launched a co-branded card. This card is aimed at those who travel frequently by air. Users will receive ‘IndiGo Blue Chips’ for every transaction made through this card. These can be used to purchase IndiGo flight tickets, flight seats, and meals. IndiGo is the country’s largest airline, while SBI Card is India’s second-largest card issuer.

UPI Payments Through RuPay Card

This card has two variants: IndiGo SBI Card and Indigo SBI Card ELITE. This card offers a dual network setup. This means that users receive two cards under a single account. The first is a RuPay Card and the second is a Mastercard. This allows users to easily make transactions within the country and abroad. The RuPay card also supports UPI payments.

Indigo Blue Chips for every ₹100 transaction

Indigo BluChips are a key feature of this card. For every ₹100 spent on IndiGo’s website and mobile app, users receive 7 Indigo Blue Chips. For every ₹100 spent on hotel and travel bookings through other platforms, users receive 3 Indigo Blue Chips. For every ₹100 spent annually, users receive an additional 25,000 Indigo Blue Chip vouchers. This card will prove beneficial for frequent air travelers.

Indigo Blue Chips offer greater benefits when booking tickets early

Sumanta Mandal, founder of TechnoFino, a platform that reviews debit cards and credit cards, said that the redemption value of Indigo Blue Chips ranges from ₹0.40-₹0.60. He added that booking flight tickets early offers better value, as redemption rates can vary depending on demand and availability.

3.75% interest per month on outstanding balance

The joining fee for the Indigo SBI Card is ₹1,499 (excluding GST). The annual renewal fee is the same. The joining fee for the Indigo SBI Credit Card Elite is ₹4,999 (excluding GST). The renewal fee is the same, plus GST. If you have an outstanding balance on the card, you will earn 3.75% interest per month. This translates to an annual interest rate of 45%.

Free Airport Lounge Access

IndiGo SBI Credit Card users receive coverage of up to ₹3,000 per ticket for up to four flight cancellations. Checked baggage loss coverage of up to ₹72,000 is also available. These features are very useful during emergencies. Both cards offer airport lounge access. There are no annual renewal charges based on the spending limit. However, users receive Blue Chips equal to the fee paid. The IndiGo SBI Card offers 2,500 Blue Chips, and the IndiGo SBI Card Elite offers 5,000 Blue Chips.
