Utah vs. West Virginia: Game matchup
Rich Rodriguez is back in Morgantown, but the 2025 season has been a struggle thus far. West Virginia did beat rival Pitt in Week 3. However, the Mountaineers also dropped a game against Ohio and were blown out by Kansas. To make matters worse, starting quarterback Nicco Marchiol is banged up and will miss Saturday’s game against the Utes.
Utah is currently a 12.5-point favorite heading into the game, but the Utes are also coming off of a disappointing loss. Texas Tech came to Salt Lake City last weekend and handled Utah 34-10. It is still early in the season, but both programs certainly need to avoid falling to 0-2 in Big 12 play.
