Kenya’s Ambassador to Ghana, Shem Amadi, has urged Kenyan intermediary groups operating in the country to study Ghana’s business trends and growth portfolios in order to guide investors to make sound investment decisions.
According to him, Ghana, as a developing country, offers numerous untapped opportunities across various sectors that could yield positive results if approached strategically.

Ambassador Amadi made the remarks when four Kenyan groups paid a courtesy call on him. The delegation included Kirima Bury, President of the Kenyan Diaspora; Dr Mathew Owili, Deputy Governor of Kisumu County; a representative of the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency; and David Antwi, CEO of GhanaWeb.
The Ambassador emphasised that Ghana provides a complete and enabling business environment, underpinned by friendly laws and robust security structures designed to protect the interests of investors, including foreign partners.
“The laws are friendly and they also have all the necessary security arrangements to protect the business interests of foreign partners,” he stated, urging the groups to carefully analyze the local environment so they can offer informed advice to their clientele.
Corroborating the envoy’s claims, David Antwi, CEO of GhanaWeb, encouraged the Kenyan groups to leverage partnerships with GhanaWeb to highlight and promote Kenyan businesses to the rest of the world. He stressed that visibility and strategic collaboration were key to unlocking opportunities across borders.
