Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is preparing to grace television screens once more, having secured a spot on a major US Netflix programme.
The 31 year old has been confirmed as one of the participants for Netflix’s Inside: USA, which launches on the streaming platform on September 21. The programme, developed by British YouTube collective Sidemen, has already enjoyed two triumphant series in the UK.
The inaugural series aired on YouTube, whilst the second series transferred to Netflix after achieving remarkable viewing figures. Ekin-Su isn’t the first Love Island alumna to participate, with Whitney Adebayo featuring in the second series.
Throughout the programme, various internet personalities cohabit and engage in challenges to earn money from a collective prize pot, encountering steep charges for essential items and penalties for unsuccessful tasks.
Dubbed perfect for fans of Big Brother, Ekin-Su will be residing alongside numerous American celebrities and digital creators, including Selling Sunset’s Breana “Bre” Tiesi. Bre became part of the series in Season 6, and shares a child with Nick Cannon, reports the Mirror.
Announcing the news on Instagram last week, Sidemen Inside wrote: “The Brits have arrived welcome @max.fosh & @ekinsuofficial.”
And fans couldn’t contain their excitement as one person wrote: “Ekin was made for tv she knowssss how to bring entertainment.” Another added: “How’d you get @ekinsuofficial OMGGG.”
A third wrote: “Yes Ekin to grace our screens again.”
The Love Island favourite will also be housed with streamers and YouTubers such as Sketch, Jay Cinco, Sydney Thomas and Max Fosh.
This isn’t the first occasion Ekin-Su has appeared before American viewers, having featured in the second series of the US edition of The Traitors in 2024, where she participated as a Faithful before being eliminated in episode four.
Aside from her stint on Love Island, Ekin-Su also graced the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2024, sharing the spotlight with celebs like Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.
The news follows reports that the reality star was overheard arranging a secret date with another Love Island alum at this year’s National Television Awards, following her break up with Curtis Pritchard.
Despite not appearing on Love Island together, Ekin-Su and Joe Garratt were seen laughing together in the VIP section at an afterparty post-NTAs. Onlookers couldn’t help but notice the spark between them, with Joe reportedly asking Ekin-Su out.
“Ekin-Su and Joe have real chemistry together, it was obvious just looking over at them. They didn’t stop laughing and joking around after bumping into each other at the afterparty,” an insider revealed.
