BTS: V Buys Luxurious Home In Seoul, Pays Rs 90 Crore In Cash

BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung has reportedly purchased a new luxurious apartment in the Cheongdam-dong area of Seoul. As reported by Sportschosun.com, the globally popular singer purchased this property on September 17, as mentioned by a “certified copy of the real estate register”. As per the documents, V signed the contract in May this year but took ownership this month after the balance amount was paid.
Details About BTS’ V New Home
Reportedly, this new home has an area of 273.96㎡ and is priced at 14.2 billion won, which is approximately ₹89.8 crore. Reportedly, there is “no establishment of a collateral security right on the register”. Therefore, it is “presumed that the purchase was made in full cash without a mortgage loan.”
The house has five rooms and three bathrooms. The luxurious home’s living room has a panoramic window which is 6 meters high and 11 meters wide. It offers a view of the Han River.
Reportedly, actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young also reside in the same building.
When Did V Discharge From Mandatory Military Service?
V walked out of his mandatory military discharge on June 10. He was also accompanied by his fellow BTS member, RM. The two globally popular singers stepped out in uniform at the Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, as fans from across the world cheered and welcomed them. While RM was seen playing a saxophone, V was seen holding bouquets of flowers. They were all smiles as they posed for the cameras and marked their comeback. All the members of BTS have now completed their military service.
BTS Planning To Make A Mega Comeback
Previously, it was reported that BTS is also planning to make a mega comeback next year. Reportedly, BTS is set to make its long-awaited full-group comeback in March 2026. “BTS’ comeback date is set for March next year,” a HYBE official told The Korea Herald’s source. “While the exact date is unknown, I think it will be mid-March. I heard BTS is returning in the same month as their brother group Tomorrow X Together,” another insider added.
While BTS’ agency, BigHit, has not issued any statement as of now, industry insiders see a possibility of a prerelease single or other project dropping before the group’s official return next year.
