News Investigators/ President Bola Tinubu has extended warm greetings to David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (LFCWW) and Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, on his 71st birthday.‎‎Tinubu, in a statement issued on Friday by his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, congratulated Oyedepo’s family, congregants, staff of David Oyedepo Ministries International (DOMI), and the entire Body of Christ.‎‎The President described Mr Oyedepo as “a towering figure of influence and impact” across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond through his spiritual, educational, and philanthropic work.‎‎Tinubu praised the Presiding Bishop of LFCWW ((Winners Chapel) for his unwavering focus, discipline, and diligence, noting that these virtues have fuelled LFCWW’s global expansion since 1982.‎‎He highlighted Mr Oyedepo’s contributions to infrastructure, healthcare, and education, which have transformed many cities, states, and nations.‎‎Tinubu also acknowledged the transformative role of Oyedepo’s educational institutions, from primary to tertiary levels, built around holistic human development.‎‎”You have built one of Africa’s most impactful Christian ministries from humble beginnings.“Your steadfastness in the Word of Faith ministry is exemplary, birthing many ministries with resonating impact on key sectors of the economy.‎‎”Your establishment of Covenant University and Landmark University continues to raise the standard of education, competing favourably with other global institutions.‎‎”Your contributions to nation-building through preaching and teaching of faith, discipline, and service remain deeply appreciated by our government.‎‎”At a time when our nation continues to draw strength from moral and spiritual leaders, you have remained a pacesetter and symbol of a servant leader for many to emulate,” the President said.‎‎Tinubu prayed for Mr Oyedepo’s continued good health, long life, and divine wisdom to uplift more lives, families, and nations through the Word of Faith.‎‎The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Oyedepo was born on Sept. 27, 1954, in Osogbo, Osun, to a mixed-faith family.‎‎His father was a Muslim healer, and his mother belonged to the Aladura movement.Mr Oyedepo was raised by an Anglican grandmother who grounded him in Christian values.
