An hour later, emergency services responded to a second fire at AutoSport Prestige, a luxury car dealership on Taunton Drive in Cheltenham.
When firefighters arrived, the business was engulfed in flames. Most of the 90 high-end vehicles inside were damaged by fire or smoke.
It took firefighters almost two hours to bring the blaze under control, which had spread to a nearby building. Police are treating the fire as suspicious, and an investigation is underway.
It’s unclear at this stage whether the two fires on Friday morning are linked.
