Charlie Sheen Shoved Ice Cubes In His Butt After Being High On Crack Cocaine

Actor Charlie Sheen has shared candid details about his long battle with addiction in the recently released documentary aka Charlie Sheen. The film explores his struggles with substance abuse, the impact on his personal and professional life, and his ongoing journey toward sobriety. Sheen recounts his experiences with cocaine, crack, alcohol, and other substances.
Sheen revisited the 2011 ABC interview that drew widespread attention, where he admitted to using seven grams of crack cocaine. The revelation shocked fans and colleagues. His longtime friend and former drug supplier, Marco, discussed the severity of Sheen’s addiction at the time. Reports suggest that producers of Two and a Half Men, along with his then-wife Denise Richards, threatened to halt the show if Sheen did not enter rehab.
Despite multiple attempts to help him, Sheen’s path to sobriety was fraught with setbacks. Interestingly, Marco, who had supplied drugs to Sheen for years, played a role in moderating his addiction. According to the documentary, Sheen’s drug counselor instructed Marco to gradually reduce the potency of the cocaine provided to him. This strategy helped decrease Sheen’s intake over time, though cocaine continued to impact both his personal life and professional commitments for years.
The documentary also details a particularly extreme incident during the filming of Free Money. Sheen, exhausted from a drug-fueled binge the previous night, struggled to stay awake on set. In a desperate attempt, he reportedly rushed to the bathroom and inserted ice cubes into his body to maintain alertness. Footage shot immediately afterward is included in the documentary.
Addressing public opinions about his addiction and mental health, Sheen said in the documentary, “People are entitled to their opinions. You borrow my brain for 5 seconds, and you’ll be like, ‘Please unplug this bastard.’ I don’t remember the last time I took drugs. It was a couple of days before the suits rolled in. I was banging seven-gram rocks because that’s how I roll. I survived that because it’s me; I got tiger blood.”
