“We know who we have this week in Todd Bowles and how much of a evil genius he is, you know, he’s just one of those evil geniuses that can design anything off everything, and so, you know, and I think for us again, it’s all about identifying what we’re seeing up front, how we the plan that we have, how we can go out there and effectively communicate that,” said offensive lineman Jordan Mailata.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts added, “He’s got a lot of tools and a lot of things in his system, and what he does that is very challenging, and that’s what makes them such a great team and a great defense. So, knowing all of those things he has available, you know, you just really want to trust the rules and trust the preparation of everything that you have. But you know, just pointing out, this is a really good team, a really good defense, well coached, and it’s always a competitive environment going down there.”
“He’s very smart,” said center Cam Jurgens. “The way he can scheme up certain offenses and get his pressures called from a variety of different looks. It’s very impressive. And, you know, we’ve got to be ready for a lot of things. When you play him, he can bring it from all over the field and from different personnel groups.”
