Powell expressed admiration for the celebrity’s past work but stated he was “not a fan of their choices,” leading to discomfort when asked to pose for a photograph with them.
He described the celebrity’s public image as “toxic,” indicating he wished to avoid being seen publicly with them due to their controversial status.
Powell drew a parallel between the unnamed celebrity and his character Russ Holiday in the upcoming series “Chad Powers,” discussing the nature of mistakes versus being inherently “bad.”
He also reflected on “cancel culture,” noting how the internet prevents individuals from forgetting past mistakes and the importance of accountability.
