MTN Ghana hosts SME Business Clinic in Kumasi to boost entrepreneurship

MTN Ghana has organized its flagship SME Business Clinic in Kumasi as part of its ongoing initiative to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the tools and resources needed to enhance growth and sustainability.
The event, held under the theme “Setting Up Your Business for Growth”, brought together entrepreneurs from diverse sectors to benefit from capacity-building programs aimed at strengthening the SME ecosystem, which plays a critical role in job creation and national development.
Speaking at the launch, Mohammed Abubakari-Sadick, Head of SME at MTN Ghana, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting small businesses through digital empowerment and financial access.

“MTN believes most SMEs in Ghana have specific needs in areas like capacity building and digital engagement. We are here to provide them with our digital tools and, together with our partners Sanlam and Allianz, ensure they get the best solutions to grow,” he stated.
The Business Clinic provided participants with training in digital skills, financial literacy, and modern business management practices to help them scale up their operations.
Several participants expressed appreciation to MTN Ghana for the initiative, noting that the knowledge and insights gained would go a long way in sustaining their businesses and improving profitability.
The SME Business Clinic forms part of MTN Ghana’s broader agenda to drive inclusive economic growth by equipping entrepreneurs with the resources and platforms required to thrive in a competitive business environment.
