Adrian Sanderson from Married at First Sight UK is best known for his emotional and often turbulent relationship with husband Thomas Hartley, which featured several dramatic arguments as well as some heartfelt moments on the 2022 series. He runs an online business, designing and selling sports bags, and in his official MAFS profile, he said it’s a “time-consuming enterprise that makes him lonely at times.” As the latest series of the show has arrived, he has warned the latest contestants not to expect it to change their lives. Adrian told the Tab: “The first year you’re thrown into the deep end very, very quickly. “It’s brilliant – it’s so exciting. But for me personally it was so busy because I chose to not leave my job. “So many people leave their jobs and really have everything riding on it – even the producers when you’re on MAFS UK say don’t do that.” For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter Adrian also added: “My advice to everyone would be enjoy it for what it is. “You shouldn’t be expecting this to change your life and turn you into a celebrity. “Chances are it isn’t going to do that.” Adrian has gathered a following of over 180,000 followers on Instagram, which he has used to secure a number of brand and event opportunities. He often shares updates about his life and posts content related to a number of different topics, from fashion, to food related posts. So far, the MAFS UK 2025 series has already had its fair share of ups and downs, with people already forming some thoughts about which couples will make it through the entire process. One popular contestant of this year’s series has been Ashley Dommett from Bridgend . While Ashley was immediately taken with his new bride, Grace from Norwich, and praised experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson, and Charlene Douglas for what he felt was a perfect match, Grace was far less certain. And in a private moment with the cameras and away from Ashley, Grace broke down in tears. Fans jumped to Ashley’s defence, arguing that he “deserved better”, and seemed like a “true gent.” You can read more about this here. And you can watch the series for free on Channel 4 here.
