An Aussie who’s gained online fame for his ‘food challenges’ has been called out by a small town pub.

Grand Hotel Childers, in Central Queensland, shared a photo on Friday of Jimmy Judge with several shopping bags at its free community pantry, which is open for locals to take any food essential they need.

‘Gotcha! Jimmy Judge has done this a few times now,’ the business wrote online.

While many viewers initially thought Judge was hoarding free goods, the pub quickly revealed he’s been quietly loading up the pantry to ensure those in town never go without.

‘He’s a beautiful beautiful guy. This is not even his community and he stops in on his way past and fills it,’ Grand Hotel Childers wrote.

‘He’s always saying he doesn’t want any recognition or mention for it. He’s not doing it for social media clout. He just sneaks in and does it quietly.

‘We caught him this time. We wanted to shout him out because everyone knows him for his eating challenges but not enough for all the great stuff he does for men’s mental health and for just being the nicest of guys!

‘Good on ya Jimmy!’

Dozens of commenters laughed at themselves for falling for the pub’s cheeky way of recognising a local hero.

‘I’m so glad I continued to read, all I saw was ‘gotcha’ and thought he was stealing the stuff,’ one wrote.

‘When I first saw the picture I thought, ‘Have a look at this maggot knocking off the food donations’. Turns out that I’m the maggot for judging Jimmy,’ another said.

Mr Judge’s quiet act of kindness comes after he faced criticism online for ‘wasting’ food by eating huge meals for his followers.

He addressed the comments in a podcast, Move Over Mama, earlier this year, saying: ‘Someone’s like, ‘He’s wasting food and he’s promoting gluttony’, ‘There’s starving and children in Africa’.

‘We raise food for food banks, and people are still like, ‘You could be giving this (food) to kids’. We’re not going to send a GYG burrito to Africa, bro.’

Fortunately, the majority of Mr Judge’s commenters are overwhelmingly positive with many applauding his charitable side and preference to eat at small businesses.

He was flooded with even more applause under Grand Hotel Childers’ post.

The influencer previously revealed his charitable side in response to critics slamming him for ‘wasting’ food, saying he regularly helps food banks

‘What a legend! We need more Jimmy’s in our country. In a time where food is so expensive, here he is just helping out!’ one commenter wrote.

‘That face says it all, he’s definitely been caught in the act. Good on you Jimmy,’ another said.

‘That’s an Aussie to be proud of,’ another wrote.

‘Be kind, be more like Jimmy!’ another said.

Some eagle-eyed commenters even noticed Mr Judge had bought the donation food locally.

‘He supports the local IGA supermarket too. Double legend!’ one wrote.

Daily Mail has contacted Jimmy Judge for comment.
