Actress Celina Jaitly is celebrating the eighth birthday of her third son, Arthur. She marked the occasion with a touching post, calling her boy her “miracle baby”. She posted a beautiful picture of herself with Arthur sitting in her lap, joined by her two elder sons as they enjoyed time in a swimming pool. Through the post, she reflected on the day he was born and shared an anecdote about the months following his birth. “Is My 8-Year-Old the Reincarnation of My #fauji Father?” she wrote at the beginning of her post.
Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday, September 9, she wrote, “Baby no 4, Arthur, turns 8 years old. I will never forget this bittersweet time in my life.” Celina shared that she was once again blessed with twin boys, a rare occurrence of consecutive twin pregnancies.
FYI, the actress, who got married to Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Peter Haag in 2011, gave birth to twin sons, Winston and Viraaj, in 2012. Five years later, she again conceived another set of twin boys. Tragically, one of them passed away due to a congenital heart condition after birth. The surviving twin endured a long and critical stay in the NICU before pulling through.
Celina Jaitly Reveals She Left Arthur In NICU To Take Care Of Her Ailing Mother
Remembering that period in her life, Celina added, “Arthur was born on 10 Sept in the evening. Unlike my other #pregnancy, he was moved to the NICU as an immature preemie baby. Even in NICU, he was strong, independent, & hilariously assertive inside his incubator.” Unfortunately, she could not spend much time with him in his early months as she was taking care of her ailing mother, who was battling cancer in Lucknow.
“I was afraid… will he connect to me, will he remember me? I cut short #breastfeeding to be with Mama, while he continued his post-NICU fight. I couldn’t take him with me,” she mentioned, adding that the next time she saw Arthur, he was five months old. Celina revealed, “He had flown down all the way from Dubai. I was terrified he wouldn’t recognise me, since I had left him at only 2 months old. But when I held him, he giggled. At 5 months, he remembered me. He was so happy, staring at me as if to say, ‘Mama, I know you.’ I was a mother again, grateful that he could be by his late Nani’s side in her last month on earth.”
Celina Jaitly Compares Arthur’s “Resilience” With Her Late Father
The 43-year-old actress shared that her eight-year-old’s resilience reminded her of her late father, who passed away while she was pregnant with her second set of boys. “There are words he has said that only my father said. He has strange leadership qualities that of a seasoned general. Maybe, as physics says, matter is neither created nor destroyed; maybe Arthur is my father’s #reincarnation, maybe these are the words my heart makes up to comfort my aching soul. Whatever it is, I am so lucky to have been able to give birth to this intelligent, kind-hearted little Colonel,” Celina wrote.

At the end of her post, she asked her fans and followers to shower Arthur with blessings, saying, “Please bless Arthur as he continues to navigate this world without his #twin. May he march in strength, joy & love.”
