Following actor Yoon Ji-On’s DUI incident, the team of Positively Yours which he was currently filming has decided to edit his scenes out and replace him with another artist. This comes after Yoon issued an apology as a source from Channel A announced that he had stepped down from its production. The 35-year-old actor, whose last hit show was Netflix’s Love Next Door, recently got embroiled in the driving under influence controversy. Yoon Ji-On to be replaced in Positively Yours On September 18, Soompi reported that the production team of Positively Yours has released a statement regarding Yoon Ji-On’s departure from the drama. It stated, “We plan to reshoot the scenes in which Yoon Ji On appears.” The makers added, “We are currently looking for an actor to take over the role he played.” A day before, reports came in that Yoon had been recently booked for drunk driving charges. The actor has been shooting for Positively Yours, but the case led to his exit from the project. It is speculated that the production team plans to first film scenes in which Yoon’s character Lee Min-Wook does not appear. This comes as his exclusive contract with his former agency IEUM Hashtag ended in July this year. The company confirmed the same with a statement too. “It is true that Yoon Ji On is leaving Channel A’s new drama ‘I Have a Baby’ because of drunk driving., Yoon Ji On’s exclusive contract with IEUM Hashtag already ended on July 6, and we decided not to renew it,” the agency said. It stated that for now, the label had only been helping him temporarily unless he signed with a new company.
