Why on Earth would this state build only a 23,000-capacity stadium that isn’t much larger than the University of Hawaii-Manoa stadium? To bring large events, the stadium should accommodate 50,000-60,000 people. We don’t need restaurants and expensive condos; instead, build a world-class stadium!
Maybe the experts should watch college football to get an idea of what Hawaii really needs to bring World Cups and other major sports to our state. It would be another disappointment to the the taxpayers of our state, like the useless Honolulu rail.
