Elected officials from the students’ home municipalities presented certificates of completion to the young entrepreneurs along with James Brose, Development and Property Committee chairman.
“The enthusiasm and dedication shown by these participants are a testament to the potential of our youth. Through their businesses, they are not only contributing to our local economy but also inspiring others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Let’s continue to support and encourage these young visionaries as they continue on their entrepreneurial journeys,” Brose said.
Local elected officials presented certificates to the young business owners in recognition of their work. The Township of McNab/Braeside, which sponsored the program this year, also invited participants to sell their creations at the annual HerbFest in White Lake under the Junior Entrepreneur category.
“The vendor market at Herbfest provided an excellent platform for these youth to showcase their products and connect with the local community, helping to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship,” Brose added.
The Summer Company Program will return in 2026, with applications due in May.
