The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has extended the registration deadline for Assam class 10 exams 2026 till October 21, 2025. The last date to apply has been extended as schools and offices will remain closed due to the forthcoming Durga Puja vacation, the board stated in an official notice. Students who are eligible to take the Assam HSLC examinations in 2026 must visit the official website, sebaonline.org and register themselves. Earlier, the last date to apply was October 4.
“In view of the closure of schools and offices due to the forthcoming Durga Puja vacation. The last date for Form Fill-up of the HSLC Examination, 2026 has been extended up to 21st October, 2025. The last date for submission of payment is 24th October, 2025. All candidates intending to appear in the HSLC Examination, 2026 must possess a valid Bank Account in their own name. Schools are hereby directed to upload the Bank Account details of each candidate in the Form Fill-up Portal. On Failure to furnish these details, the student will not be entitled for the allowance,” states the official notice.
Assam HSLC Exams 2026: How To Apply
Step 1: Go to sebaonline.org, the official website.
Step 2: Select the registration link for the HSLC examination 2026 from the the website.
Step 3: After a new window opens, log in using your student credentials and submit.
Step 4: Complete the application and send in all required information.
Step 5: Download and save the confirmation page for further records.
Assam HS Exams 2026: Application Fees
Students must note that there is a Rs 800 exam fee, Rs 50 practical exam fee, and a Rs 350 centre fee.
Examinees whose parents make less than Rs 2,00,000 are exempted from paying the examination and centre fees whether they attend government, or private schools.
Furthermore, every institution has to pay Rs 1000 as annual renewal fee of recognition and affiliation of the institution as paid in last year. This amount is to be paid by the institution and the same cannot be collected from students by the institution, the notice added.
