Up next for No. 23 Mizzou football is a prime time conference opener at Faurot Field as the Tigers face Southeastern Conference foe South Carolina on Saturday night.
Mizzou (3-0) continues its six-game homestand to start the season. The Tigers are coming off a blowout win over Louisiana, one of two early-season routs by Mizzou.
Mizzou has won 13 straight home games, a streak that began with a win over these same Gamecocks in 2023.
South Carolina (2-1, 0-1 SEC) is fresh off a 31-7 home loss to Vanderbilt in which quarterback LaNorris Sellers was hurt.
Last year, Mizzou lost 34-30 at South Carolina, breaking the Tigers’ five-game win streak in games vs. the Gamecocks.
ESPN Analytics as well as the betting line both favor Mizzou to win and extend its unbeaten start.
