Robbin to Michael Jordan’s Bulls team turns 60 today. The new generation of fans remembers Scottie Pippen for his ever-changing stance on The Last Dance documentary and his relationship with MJ. Some might even see his name in the headlines for his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen’s statement. But the real ones remember the icon for his defensive tenacity on the court and stepping up when His Airness needed him the most. As he celebrated his major milestone away from his family, the kids were active in honoring their father.
Pippen was away from his family for a special event in Madrid. “Hi, it’s about to begin. I will soon be experiencing my first-ever inclusive All-Star event, right here in Madrid.” The Sanitas Foundation promoted the inclusive sports event. Jose Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, President of the Supreme Council for Sports of Spain, also thanked the Bulls legend for joining them at the All-Star event.
“It was a very beautiful act and to have a legend like Scottie Pippen here makes it unique.” While watching the inclusive game from the courtside, the 6x NBA champion wrote, “Incredible event.” It seemed like a packed house, and what made it even more incredible was the celebration on the court. The fans stood up, clapping, while the song of Happy Birthday Scottie echoed in the arena.

The Foundation even brought out a cake to celebrate the event, as the Bulls legend was away from his home on his special day. It was three days ago that the 7x All-Star confirmed his appearance for the event in Madrid.
That post had a video message of him confirming his presence at the event. A post with the caption also did this, “NBA legend @scottiepippen will join us as an ambassador 🔥 📍 Magariños Sports Center, Madrid“. As stated, even though Pip was away from the family, it was for a good cause. His children made sure that their father didn’t miss out thanks to various social media posts and mentions.

Scottie Pippen’s day gets more special
Let’s talk about one of the kids of the Bulls legend who tends to stay away from the spotlight. Sierra Pippen, 30, born to ex-girlfriend Yvette Deleone, on Feb. 17, 1995, their relationship started in a courtroom. At first, Pippen denied the paternity test, but was proven to be Sierra’s father in court. Sierra went on to attend the University of Iowa. “My Dad IS 60 TODAY” in one story and in another added the caption, “so excited it’s your birthday and even more excited to call you my dad”.
At first, it was unclear if they had any relationship, but now it’s clear that despite his previous denial, the Bulls legend not only accepted Sierra but also spends time with her. Previously, Scottie Pippen admitted he needed to have a better relationship with his kids. “You should first believe in yourself,” he told PEOPLE when asked for his advice. “Work hard and continue to work towards those goals.” His eldest son with Larsa Pippen is just doing that with his stint in the NBA.

Sophia Pippen, the only daughter of Larsa and Scottie, added an Instagram story, “Happy birthday I love you” followed by two red hearts. During his NBA career, many remember him for his dunks and rebounds. But his kids celebrate his legacy as a loving father.
