EXCLUSIVE: Clayton Grimm, best known for his portrayal of the popular children’s character Blippi, has signed a new multi-year overall talent deal with CoComelon outfit Moonbug Entertainment. Under the pact, Grimm will continue to star as Blippi across platforms and will also play a role in expanding the franchise’s partnerships.
Grimm has played Blippi since 2019 and notably stars in Netflix‘s Blippi’s Job Show, which returned for its second season earlier this week alongside co-star Cashaé Monya (Meekah). Blippi episodes have streamed globally on Netflix since 2022, while the franchise’s main YouTube channel now reaches more than 25.8 million subscribers.
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Grimm first brought Blippi to life on stage with a national tour before transitioning to the digital series. He eventually embarked on another national tour, including a six-week, sold-out run on the West End.
“Playing Blippi has been the adventure of a lifetime. I’m so grateful to continue this journey with Moonbug and to keep inspiring kids to learn and explore through play,” said Grimm.
In addition to his Moonbug pact, Grimm has signed with Arise Artists Agency for representation in talent, endorsements, and voiceovers. He continues to be managed by Cameron Kadison and Lauren Rosenberg at Mortar Media and Hansen Jacobson.
