Celebrities and influencers often share their workout routines to inspire fans to stay fit and active. But a new viral video is highlighting a very different approach to fitness. The clip shows a group of women working out in a gym while dressed in burkhas and hijabs.
While the exact location and timing are not confirmed, the clip showcases over 15 women using a variety of gym machines while fully covered. It shows how fitness can adapt to cultural and religious practices.
Women Exercise With Full Confidence
In the video, women move with full confidence that proves strength and stamina are not limited by clothing. They are seen running and walking on treadmills, using CrossFit trainers and cycling machines. Despite wearing full-body clothing such as burkha and hijab, they do not face any discomfort and continue to work out.

Hints About The Location
Although no official details confirm where the video was shot, clues from the clip suggest a possible connection to Somalia. Some of the women can be seen holding flags that resemble Somalia’s national flag. While this doesn’t confirm the location, it gives viewers an idea of where the gym might be.
The Concept Of ‘Halal GYM’
The video has been shared by several Instagram accounts that many viewers are calling the facility as a ‘Halal gym.’ ‘Halal gym’ or Islamic fitness centres, are made to meet the needs of Muslim members.
They usually have separate workout sessions for men and women, follow modest dress codes and may have all-female staff during women-only hours. Some also offer prayer rooms, halal food and childcare to support both fitness and spiritual needs.
Unconventional Workouts In Pakistan
While the above footage is a viral hit, another viral video shows people exercising in unusual ways. One man is seen stretching a cable with one hand while holding a dumbbell in the other. At the same time, he performs a squat. So, basically, he combined two movements into a single exercise.

In another part of the clip, a man works on his shoulders. Instead of the usual side raises with dumbbells, he adapts his movement in a creative way. The video also includes other examples of inventive exercises that left both social media users amused and shocked.
While the location wasn’t confirmed here as well, it is being reported that these clips are from gyms in Pakistan.
