The Velotric Fold 1 Lite e-bike comes as a newer low-cost variant to the brand’s standard and Plus models, not to mention it weighs less than those models, at 61 pounds. What’s really impressive, considering its slimmed-down size, is the 440-pound payload here too. It comes with a 500W rear hub motor and a 486Wh battery combo that gives you top speeds of 20 MPH, which can be unlocked to 28 MPH if your state allows it. According to the brand, using only its throttle allows for up to 40 miles of travel, while utilizing its five PAS levels can get you up to 48 miles.
As the name implies, there is a folding design here to help you save on storage space, with some nice features thrown in. You’ll get puncture-resistant tires, fenders to go over each, hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear lighting (with brake lighting), a 1.8-inch LCD screen for settings that also has a USB port, and more.
