Kontoor Brands Foundation has awarded $25,000 grants to four Greensboro nonprofit organizations.
The foundation said the recipients were chosen “based on their strong commitment to addressing housing and food insecurity across Greensboro.”
The foundation has been focused this year on the Nourish & Shelter pillar, seeking and engaging organizations that support the health and well-being of the Greensboro community.
The 2025 Signature Grant recipients are:
A Simple Gesture, which provides a sustainable supply of food to local food pantries in Guilford County, collects excess perishable food for use by local nonprofits and for community meals, and to support the SHARE program in Guilford County Schools.
Out Of The Garden, which works to end childhood hunger in the Triad by providing nutritious food to children and families in need, fostering a supportive community and ensuring every child has the resources to thrive.
Partners Ending Homelessness, which creates housing solutions for those in crisis by connecting individuals to safe, healthy and sustainable housing and appropriate resources.
The Servant Center, which assists the homeless and disabled, particularly veterans, to become independent, contributing members of our community through housing, healthcare and restorative services.
