Fortnite’s 37.30 update drops today, and the game will be going offline while it’s installed. Matchmaking has already been disabled as I write this, and it’s expected that the servers will remain offline for three to four hours, coming back online later in the day with a stack of additions and changes.
Those additions include the Dino Megazord, the Blade Blaster Power Rangers weapon, and the Party Crashers LTM expansion. This is an important time for Fortnite, as we’re also approaching the widely debated V-Bucks change.
Read on to learn everything about the Fortnite 37.30 update, including when the servers for Fortnite are coming back online today.
When is Fortnite Offline Today?
Fortnite will be offline today from 04:00 AM ET / 01:00 AM PT / 09:00 AM BST and will be back online around 08:00 AM ET / 05:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM BST. It’s always possible that the patch could take a little longer for Epic Games to apply, so treat that end time as dynamic.
Update 37.30 welcomes some key new elements, including the Dino Megazord vehicle and boss. Dino Megazord was supposed to be added to Fortnite on Tuesday, but a silent delay pushed back the addition to today, September 18. It’ll now land in the game with the 37.30 update.
Alongside the Dino Megazord drivable mech and boss (and Battle Pass outfit) comes the Blade Blaster Power Rangers weapon.
This is all part of the Megazord Community Question, which will see users summoning the Red Ranger to unlock the ‘Power of Megazord’.
Players can also expect the Party Crashers LTM to kick off after the deployment of update 37.30 in Fortnite.
What is the Party Crashers LTM?
This is the new limited-time mode that’s coming to Fortnite with update 37.30, and it has been unveiled as non-stop chaos. It’s an all-new zero-build mode set on the standard island that sees players forming mid-match alliances with the all-new proximity voice chat mechanic introduced for the mode.
Players can team up ad hoc, switching sides as they please and turning on their newfound friends as and when they desire.
This mode is also how to unlock the Evie X skin in Fortnite.
Incoming V-Bucks Change in Fortnite
On October 10, Epic Games is making a major change to the V-Bucks system. It’ll start by rounding up all existing V-Bucks balances to the nearest 50 to align with the new system. From October 14, players will be able to top up their V-Bucks balance in precise increments, adding as little as 50 V-Bucks at a time.
This is a change from the old model that required users to buy more V-Bucks than they necessarily needed to purchase a skin or other kind of in-game cosmetic.
