ARTHUR Gourounlian has told how he almost got a nose job at a very young age – but a modelling agency changed his mind.

The Dancing With The Stars judge performed as a backing dancer for huge pop stars such as Beyonce, Kylie Minogue and Girls Aloud back in the early 2000s.

But while he was making a name for himself in the entertainment industry, Arthur also tried his hand at modelling.

On a recent episode of his hit podcast with RTE chef Donal Skehan, the dad-of-two lifted the lid on his experience in the industry.

The 45-year-old told how he was hired for modelling jobs due to his confidence in movement, which he claimed: “Other models couldn’t really move.”

However, the choreographer told Donal that it was also his “big nose” that secured him a dozen modelling jobs.

Donal immediately burst out laughing as he refused to believe his pal’s story.

Arthur continued: “No really they loved my nose and my profile and I got hired for a few jobs because of my nose.”

The TV star went on to admit that he had originally wanted to get a nose job when he moved over to the UK from Belgium.

He said: “When I moved over to the UK every single English man had the perfect little nose.”

However, Arthur’s dreams of a nose job were quickly squashed when modelling agencies claimed they would not hire him if “he touched his nose”.

Donal was totally speechless as he asked: “Wait hang on, so early days you actually were going to get a nose job?”

Arthur replied: “Oh yes, when I moved over to the UK I went to Harley Street and had a consultation to cut my nose off.”

Donal joked: “Wow, I wonder what nose they would have given you.”

But the celebrity dancer highlighted: “No, really, every single dancer I knew in the UK had a tiny perfect nose and I was 22, so I wanted it.

“But I was told, ‘Arthur you are a 22 year old man with a unique nose, you’ve got to keep it’.”

‘WHO NEEDS ENEMIES’

Donal humorously remarked: “Well, I think you should go back to Harley street.”

Arthur and his production crew began to howl with laughter at the star’s cheeky comment.

The Armenian native then exclaimed: “Who needs enemies when you have Donal Skehan!”

Donal started backtracking as he stated: “I’m sorry, you have a beautiful nose.”
