The Tribeca Festival has set the dates for its landmark 25th edition, which will take place from June 3-14, 2026.
“Twenty-five years ago, we started Tribeca to bring people back downtown following the 9/11 terrorist attacks and to bring storytellers and audiences together,” Tribeca co-founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal said in a statement. “Since then, Tribeca has become a home for bold ideas and powerful voices, a place where culture is shaped and new forms of storytelling are discovered. Our 25th festival will honor where we’ve been and boldly look ahead.”
Tribeca co-founder Robert De Niro adds, “As we celebrate 25 years of Tribeca, I’m reminded of why we started it in the first place: to support artists and bring people together through stories. It’s been incredible to see how the Festival has grown and evolved, and I couldn’t be prouder of what it has become. This anniversary is about celebrating the artists, audiences and New York City itself.”
The festival has also announced submission deadlines — across film, TV, music, talks, podcasts, games and immersive experiences — for its 2026 edition.
Tribeca TV, the festival says, will now serve as the venue for all episodic storytelling, with both independent creators and major studios eligible to submit. And Tribeca NOW, launches in 2014 as “New Online Work,” is putting out an open for social media creators and online storytellers.
Ahead of its 25th festival, Tribeca has announced promotions in its programming, operations, business and Tribeca Studios teams. Casey Baron has been promoted to senior programmer, film and games; Shayna Maci Warner to director of programming operations; David Speer to vp, operations; Eileen Rodriguez to general counsel, evp, legal and business affairs, secretary to the board; Megan Younger to svp, partnerships, client services and activation; Nellie Norden to vp, program Development and growth initiatives; Gretchen Higgins to vp, partnerships and global development; and Bryce Norbitz to vp, Tribeca Studios, artist development.
