A video posted on X (formerly Twitter) generated admiration online after showing a person effortlessly rolling a trolley bag on what looks like a highway roadbed, which appears to be as smooth as butter.
The camera moves across what appears to be perfect asphalt with little to no obvious joint fissures or undulations, while the trolley bag moves smoothly over the road surface in the movie. Only a high-end route like the Agra-Lucknow Expressway could provide such a ride, according to Grok.
X user Vikas Rawat shared the video by writing, “When the highway is as smooth as butter, a trolley bag can be carried comfortably.”

In the thread of replies, AI chatbot Grok, identified the section as the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, which is known for its pristine surface and contemporary design.
“@grok, which highway is this?” asked one commenter.
To which, the AI chatbot replied, “Based on the video and replies in the thread, this looks like the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh, India—famous for its butter-smooth roads.”

Grok Gave Further Insights
On further enquiry about who built the expressway, Grok added that the “Agra-Lucknow Expressway was developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) under the UP government.”
“Afcons Infrastructure, Larsen & Toubro, PNC Infratech, and Nagarjuna Construction Company were among the contractors that worked on the project. It was inaugurated by then-Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in November 2016,” it explained.

About Agra-Lucknow Expressway
Designed with high standards for pavement quality, service roads, underpasses, and bridges, the Agra-Lucknow Expressway was constructed to shorten the travel time between the two major cities and has earned a reputation as one of India’s smoother highways.
Several districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur Nagar, Kannauj, Unnao, Hardoi, and Lucknow, are connected by the 302 km Agra-Lucknow Expressway. It connects Agra to Lucknow and the National Capital Region.
It can be extended to eight lanes from its current six-lane configuration. It begins on the inner ring road of Agra and finishes on SH-40, which is on the outskirts of Lucknow. Drivers are capable of maintaining 120 km/h.
The goal of the Agra to Lucknow Access Controlled Expressway (Greenfield) Project, which is being carried out under the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode, is to help travellers get to any of the two destinations on time, and also to create opportunities for industrial and urban development.
