Scottish Strictly Come Dancing 2026 tour dates confirmed with two night run at Glasgow's OVO Hydro

Strictly Come Dancing has announced the line up for the show’s 2026 tour with two Scottish dates confirmed. The iconic BBC dancers and their celebrity partners will arrive in Glasgow next February with a two night run of performances set to take place at the OVO Hydro. The shows will take place on February Saturday 7 and Sunday 8, giving Scots fans the chance to catch the ballroom action in person. While the tour promises to be full of sizzling dance moves and lots of fun, one popular star will be noticeably absent from the show. Motsi Mabuse is set to miss the Strictly Come Dancing 2026 tour, meaning the judging panel will operate as a trio. Bubbly former show pro Janette Manrara will return as host, ensuring that Motsi’s absence does not mean that energy will drop for thousands of fans in attendance. It’s set to be a huge workload for Craig Revel Horwood, who is directing the two-hour dance bonanza and on the judging panel, the Sun reports. He said: “If you love the BBC series, then you will love the Strictly live tour! “We bring all the glitz, glamour and gorgeousness to an arena near you, so fans can enjoy the spectacle of the TV show and their favourite celebrities and dancers up-close and personal. It’s a FAB-U-LOUS night out for the whole family to enjoy.” Strictly’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas said: “The Strictly Live Tour is always the best way to start the new year. “So I can’t wait for 2026 to be back on the road with Anton and Craig and bring the magic of Strictly to fans across the country. Roll on January!” Anton Du Beke is also looking forward to making his return to the live arena, saying: “I’m back for my fourth Strictly tour and it honestly just keeps getting better and better. “Sitting behind the judges’ desk and watching the excitement from the audience night after night is just magical and as I’ve said before, we love it just as much as they do. I’m very excited to see what Craig has planned for next year!” It’s not yet been confirmed which show pros will make it to the dancefloor but those who do are in for quite the journey on the road if past years are anything to go by. The Strictly Come Dancing 2025 tour was shelved this year following a series of scandals involving the BBC show, including an investigation into misconduct and cocaine allegations. However, it seems business is back up and running and the tour will make its glorious return next year. An insider said: “Strictly The Professionals tour was known as a hotbed of drinking and fun so the decision was made to pause it while the brand got back on its feet. “However, producers have told the crew to be ready to take the show back on tour next year. The dancers are happy as it’s a great way to earn while performing when the show is off air.”
