RIP: Kilkenny shopkeeper was a 'woman of warm and kind disposition'

The peaceful death recently occurred at her home of Agnes (Aggie) Keoghan, Liss. Born in Freshford in County Kilkenny, where she spent much of her life, Aggie ran a very successful grocery and newsagents, a business now lovingly continued by her daughter Oonagh and son-in-law Paul. Aggie was a woman of warm and kind disposition, endearing herself to all who knew her. She had a great love of reading, enjoyed the game of bridge, and most of all cherished her family and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Aggie is survived by her sons Frank and Liam; daughters Catherine, Oonagh and Eithne; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and her many friends.
